What We Do

At the minute the branch is concentrating on providing support by way of social and information events.

The branch has secured some funding from the Southern Health and Social Services Trust and used part of the funding to conduct a major survey of people with brain injuries and their carers to establish their needs. The survey findings formed the basis for discussions with the Trust about future service delivery locally. We secured some limited funding from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust on the basis of our needs analysis and this has allowed us to offer a specially designed respite care programme for carers. This programme will be continued this year; click on “activities” for details.

We meet every month on the second Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Bank Bar, Trevor Hill, Newry unless otherwise advised.
